The Municipality of San Simon reported a safe, orderly, and peaceful observance of Undas 2026 through coordinated efforts among the local government, partner agencies, organizations, and barangay officials.
Under OPLAN UNDAS 2026, the municipal government provided public assistance, free blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring, medical and first aid services, emergency response, police assistance, traffic management, lost-and-found services, and free drinking water for cemetery visitors.
Acting Mayor Josephine Anne D. Canlas led the local government’s overall coordination, with the participation of the MDRRMO, Rural Health Unit, PNP, BFP, traffic management teams, and other municipal offices and partner organizations.
Barangay officials and tanods also helped maintain peace and order, particularly in Barangays San Jose, San Juan, and Concepcion, where public cemeteries and memorial gardens are located.
The Nuestra Señora del Pilar Parish, Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity, and other community partners likewise contributed parking facilities, public assistance, clean-up activities, and other essential services.
The municipal government credited the successful implementation of OPLAN UNDAS 2026 to the collective efforts, cooperation, and dedication of everyone who helped ensure a safe and peaceful observance for San Simon residents and visitors.
