The first-ever adlai production initiative in Central Luzon has been launched in Nueva Ecija, marking a significant step in promoting sustainable livelihoods for Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in the region.
The initiative is being implemented through the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III’s Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (4K) Program, in partnership with the Nueva Ecija local government.
As part of the program, IP beneficiaries participated in a five-day Adlai Production Management Training and Orientation: Capability Building, aimed at strengthening their knowledge and skills in adlai cultivation and production.
The training was held from June 29 to July 3, 2026, at Casa Jedliana Hotel and Resort in Cabanatuan City, equipping participants with the tools needed to develop adlai as a sustainable source of livelihood and food security.
