Members of various Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) from the First District of Pampanga received Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) through the joint efforts of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the office of Rep. Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr..

The cash assistance distribution aimed to help tricycle drivers and operators cope with the continuing increase in fuel prices and rising daily expenses.

“Amid the continuous increase in fuel prices, this assistance will somehow help address the daily needs of our tricycle drivers and operators,” Cong Pogi said.

The lawmaker recently extended additional support to the transport sector by personally donating five kilos of rice each to 17,074 TODA members and 2,555 members of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Associations (JODA) across Pampanga’s First District.
