A total of 954 tuberculosis (TB) patients from Pampanga’s 2nd District received assistance from the Provincial Government during a distribution program at the Lubao Gym on Wednesday, August 5.
Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda personally met with the beneficiaries, including a resident from Porac who received ₱3,000 in financial assistance for her husband, who was recently diagnosed with TB. She said the aid would help cover the cost of his medications.
In addition to the cash assistance, beneficiaries also received maintenance medicines from the Provincial Capitol and half a sack of rice under the Rice Program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Also present during the program were 2nd District Board Members Fritzie David-Dizon, Sajid Khan Eusoof, Atty. Claire Lim, and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) Head Fe Manarang.
