TACLOBAN CITY — Education Secretary Sonny Angara personally met with teachers and personnel of San Jose National High School to check on their condition following a recent incident at the school.

During the meeting, Angara assured school personnel that the Department of Education would immediately provide psychosocial support services to affected teachers and staff.

He also announced the deployment of guidance counselors to assist students in coping with the emotional and psychological effects of the incident.

The Education chief emphasized the department’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of both learners and school personnel as recovery efforts continue.
