The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) said the proposed Congressional amendments to Republic Act (RA) No. 7227 or the Bases Conversion and Development Act of 1992 will benefit the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) by beefing up the state coffers for its continued contribution to its modernization program and support for the military’s pension fund.
