The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 3 (DSWD FO3) continued its disaster response efforts by distributing 1,000 Family Food Packs (FFPs) to families affected by heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon or Habagat on September 4, 2026.

The “Angels in Red Vests” distributed the food packs at the Mexico Mini Convention Center in coordination with the Municipal Action Team (MAT)-Mexico and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

DSWD FO3 said the relief operation is part of its continuing coordination with local governments to ensure that affected families receive essential assistance during emergencies.

The agency emphasized its commitment to helping ensure that no family goes hungry and that communities have access to basic necessities during disasters.
