Bataan Governor Joet Garcia underscored the importance of merit-based governance and digital innovation as key drivers of transparency and efficiency during the “Global Emerging Tech Summit 2025” held at the Bataan People’s Center.

Garcia shared how the provincial government integrates AI-powered analytics and digital dashboards in its operations — tools designed to enhance decision-making, accountability, and public service delivery.

He said that through meritocracy, the province rewards employees and local government units that demonstrate outstanding performance and genuine dedication to public service.

The governor also emphasized the role of education in digital transformation, noting Bataan’s continuous efforts to implement Learning Management Systems (LMS) in schools to evaluate student performance and uphold quality education.

“We encourage our students to embrace technology and use it responsibly for the benefit of our communities and the progress of our province,” Garcia said.
