BCDA Sports Clinic empowers Tarlac Youth

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) brought its flagship Youth Rising Sports Clinic to New Clark City, providing young participants from the municipalities of Capas and Bamban with a day of sports, mentorship, and character-building activities.

Held at the National Academy of Sports, the program aimed to develop discipline, teamwork, resilience, leadership, and confidence among the youth through sports.

Philippine Navy soldier-athletes served as coaches, guiding participants through drills and games while promoting the values of dedication and perseverance.

BCDA Officer-in-Charge Senior Vice President Mark P. Torres welcomed the participants, encouraging them to work hard, believe in themselves, and maximize opportunities offered through sports.

The initiative reinforces BCDA’s commitment to making New Clark City an inclusive and emerging sports hub that creates opportunities for neighboring communities. The activity was supported by UP-Philippine General Hospital, Camp O’Donnell Military Treatment Facility, and the Manila Water Foundation to help ensure the participants’ safety and well-being.
