Pampanga Second District Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab distributed goods, vitamins and financial assistance to vulnerable sectors of the Sta. Rita community who have yet to receive assistance from government amid the on going pandemic.
Keeping true to her promise to help pregnant women and cancer patients, Pineda-Cayabyab visited distribution centers in Barangays San Jose and Diladila,
She distributed food packs as well as vitamins good for three weeks. She said that she aims to assure vulnerable sectors that the government of the province is one with them in their needs and concerns.
The distribution was also an opportunity for the board member to meet local residents and hear their concerns.
“We hope to reach people who have yet to receive anything amid this ongoing pandemic. It is a statement of assurance that their local government is here for them,” Pineda Cayabyab said.
BM Mylyn is also set to distribute assistance in the coming days for other sectors like persons with disabilities, transport groups and the gay and lesbian communities. The assistance will come from her personal funds.
