A suspected street-level drug personality was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Castillejos Municipal Police Station in Barangay San Jose, Castillejos, Zambales on June 10.

Police identified the suspect as a 30-year-old unemployed resident of Barangay Calapandayan, Subic, Zambales.

Authorities seized about 5.9 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P40,120. The suspect is facing charges for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The suspect and the confiscated evidence were taken to the Castillejos Municipal Police Station for documentation and the filing of appropriate charges.

Police said they will continue to intensify anti-illegal drug operations across Zambales.
