To date, Smart has fired up 5G base stations in nearly all of Pampanga’s towns, including the cities of San Fernando, Angeles and Mabalacat, and towns of Lubao, Arayat, Floridablanca, Apalit, Guagua, Mexico, Porac, Minalin, Bacolor, San Simon, Candaba, Magalang, Masantol, Santa Ana, Santa Rita, and Santo Tomas. Smart LTE is also present across Pampanga, providing high speed mobile data to customers using LTE handsets.
Globe is among the companies that collaborate with Green Antz to properly dispose and process single-use plastic waste within its office premises. Clean and dry plastics are shredded and brought to the Green Antz facility in Arca South, Taguig, for further processing and conversion to eco-bricks and eco pavers. The company also avoids the usage of single-use plastic in its headquarters.
The rising data consumption in the country remains one of the biggest drivers for Globeβs improved topline. With higher smartphone and tablet usage, mobile data revenues went up to P57.9 billion as of September from P53.7 billion reported a year ago. It accounted for 74% of total mobile revenues, from 69% in the same period of 2020.
