Cebu Pacific, MCIA open OFW One-Stop Service Center at Cebu International Airport

Cebu Pacific, in partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Aboitiz InfraCapital Cebu Airport Corporation (ACAC), has launched an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Facilitation Center at Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) Terminal 2 to provide easier access to essential travel and government services for migrant workers.

The one-stop facility allows OFWs to process their Overseas Employment Certificates (OECs) and avail of other travel-related services before departure and upon arrival, making airport transactions more convenient.

Cebu Pacific Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Candice Iyog said the initiative reflects the airline’s commitment to supporting OFWs by providing accessible and responsive services that address their needs throughout their journey.

DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said the facility is part of the agency’s efforts to bring government services closer to migrant workers, ensuring they receive assistance before deployment and upon returning home.

The OFW Facilitation Center is the latest addition to Cebu Pacific’s programs for overseas Filipinos, complementing its “Juan Flight Closer to Home” initiative, which encourages skilled OFWs to return to the country and pursue careers in the local aviation industry.

Cebu Pacific currently serves 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
