The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) conducted an inspection of materials and equipment recovered from the collapsed building site in Barangay Balibago as part of the ongoing fact-finding investigation into the incident.
Authorities said the activity forms part of the collection, documentation, and examination of evidence that may help determine the circumstances surrounding the building collapse.

Officials are also coordinating with the Malaysian Embassy regarding the recovery and turnover of personal belongings linked to the first casualty recorded in the incident.
The investigation is being carried out under the Angeles City Fact-Finding and Investigation Task Force, which was created through an executive order issued by Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II to ensure a comprehensive, impartial, and technical review of the incident.
Various government agencies and technical experts continue to work together to ensure the proper handling of evidence and adherence to established investigative procedures.
