City College of Angeles(CCA) gets additional building
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on November 5, 2021 checks on the ongoing construction of an additional building with 20 classrooms that will soon rise at the City College of Angeles (CCA).

He was joined by Chief Adviser and Tactician IC Calaguas during the inspection.
The said additional building is from the P50-million donation of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
Mayor Lazatin cited that he aims to continue to uplift the quality of education in the city.
It was on November 2020 when a P50-million donation from PAGCOR was turned over to the city government. On the same day, Lazatin made a statement that the amount will be used for the building of additional classrooms at the CCA.
According to Calaguas, it is only when there are more available classrooms at the CCA that additional courses will be offered to Angeleño scholars, hiring more professional teachers. This has been the advocacy of Mayor Lazatin for CCA as soon as he took office.
To date, there are 16 courses available in the city college with 3,200 enrolled scholars.
Apart from this soon-to-rise building, P210 million will also be allotted for the city college’s infrastructure development. (ANGELES CIO)
