Pampanga 1st District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. began on Sept. 24 the distribution of school supplies and rice to daycare students and their families in several barangays in Magalang.
The assistance reached daycare centers in San Nicolas I, Bucanan, San Antonio, Sta. Maria, Dolores, San Roque, Navaling and Sto. Rosario, bringing basic school needs directly to children in their communities.
Each daycare student received a tote bag containing crayons, notebooks, a pencil, eraser, sharpener and writing pad, while each parent received five kilos of rice. The children were also treated to malunggay ice cream during the distribution.
Cong Pogi was accompanied by Political Affairs Officer II Irish Llego and members of the respective barangay councils.
In San Nicolas I, the distribution at the San Nicolas I Day Care Center was joined by the Barangay Council led by Punong Barangay Fernando David.
In Bucanan, the activity was held at the Bucanan Day Care Center with the Barangay Council led by Punong Barangay Crisanto Bondoc Jr.
The distribution also reached the San Antonio Day Care Center in Barangay San Antonio, where members of the barangay council joined the activity.
At the Sta. Maria Day Care Center, Cong Pogi was joined by the barangay council led by Punong Barangay Jayson Antonio, while the Dolores Day Care Center activity was attended by the council led by Punong Barangay Lourdes Gueco.
In San Roque, the distribution at the San Roque Day Care Center was joined by the barangay council led by Punong Barangay June Marimla. The program also reached the Navaling Day Care Center, with the barangay council led by Punong Barangay Juanito Napo.
