First District Rep. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the distribution of livestock animals to beneficiaries in Magalang on October 6, 2026, providing local livestock raisers additional resources to start or expand their livelihood.

A total of 30 goats were distributed to beneficiaries in the municipality. The livestock were requested by Lazatin from the Department of Agriculture (DA), which allocated 30 does and five bucks for Magalang, and 20 does and five bucks for Angeles City.

“Maliit na tulong lang po ito para sa ating mga livestock raisers, pero sana ay maging daan ito para sila ay makapag-umpisa ng kanilang pagkakitaan,” Lazatin said.

Lazatin was joined during the distribution by Magalang Mayor Malu Lacson, Board Members Cherry Manalo and Christian Halili, former Councilor Norman Lacson, Association of Barangay Captains President June Marimla, and Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel.

The initiative forms part of continuing livelihood assistance extended to farmers and other beneficiaries in the First District.

In June, some 2,238 beneficiaries in the district also received the Presidential Assistance for Farmers and Fisherfolk (PAFF) through the DA, in coordination with Lazatin’s office.
