Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has launched the ‘Lamok Tepok Busters’ Dengue Prevention Drive to assist the LGUs and 87 barangays of Angeles City, Mabalacat City, and Magalang.

Starting September 1, 2025, two ‘Lamok Tepok Busters’ vehicles will conduct fogging and misting operations across the First District to help curb dengue cases. Lazatin said the initiative aims to support local chief executives in their anti-dengue programs, especially with the rise in cases.

“Ngayong dumarami ang dengue cases, priority po natin ang safety ng mga bata,” Lazatin stressed, urging residents to maintain clean surroundings and cooperate with the drive.

The program follows the fumigation model Lazatin implemented during his term as Angeles City Mayor, where barangays and public schools were regularly visited for mosquito control operations.

Barangays can submit requests to Lazatin’s District Office to be included in the fogging schedule. He also promoted the ‘4S’ strategy: search and destroy, self-protection measures, seek early consultation, and say ‘yes’ to fogging during outbreaks.
