A number of barangay public safety officers in the City of San Fernando are now equipped with a heightened awareness about road safety from the “Ride Safe, Save Lives” seminar hosted by the City Public Order and Safety Coordinating Office (CPOSCO).

The seminar was held on February 4, 2022 at Heroes Hall, as part of San Fernando’s cityhood charter anniversary.

Resource speakers from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region 3, Regional Director Eduardo de Guzman and Operations Division Chief Atty. Sushen Jimbel Mariz Sison, shared their expertise on the matter during the seminar.

Highlights of their discussion were the LTO’s mandates, and laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to road safety.

Advocacies to participate in government-sponsored initiatives to minimize road crashes and other incidents were also promoted.
