Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Dr. Edwin Mercado visited evacuees at the Bacolor Mini Convention Center on September 5 to check on their condition and oversee the delivery of health services.

Mercado was accompanied by DOH Regional Director Dr. Corazon Flores, Amelito Nicolas, and Rural Health Unit physician Dr. Esperanza Hernandez.

The visit included a free medical check-up and distribution of medicines to evacuees affected by the recent flooding.

The Provincial Capitol and Nanay Partylist also extended assistance, led by Governor Lilia “Nanay Baby” Pineda and Nanay Partylist Representative Florabel C. Yatco.

Bacolor Mayor Eduardo Diman Datu thanked the DOH, Provincial Capitol, and Nanay Partylist for their continued support and assistance to affected residents.
