DOT III pushes Halal, Muslim-friendly tourism In Clark

The Department of Tourism Central Luzon (DOT III), in partnership with the Clark Development Corporation (CDC), conducted a Halal and Muslim-Friendly Tourism Training on September 9, 2026, at the HSD Hall in Clark Freeport Zone.

The training equipped tourism stakeholders with a better understanding of Halal principles and Muslim-friendly practices, including the cultural needs, expectations, and preferences of Muslim travelers.

The initiative forms part of DOT III’s efforts to promote inclusive and culturally sensitive tourism, raise industry standards, and position Central Luzon as a more welcoming destination for Muslim visitors.
