The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to begin construction of school buildings and a bridge in the province of Aurora.
Projects in the pipeline include two new school buildings in Dingalan town and a 90-lineal meter bridge in San Luis town.
Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said the construction of the two two-storey, six-classroom buildings in Dingalan Central School and Umiray Elementary School will be implemented under the convergence program of DPWH with Department of Education.
The construction of the Real Bridge in San Luis is expected to provide residents with an efficient and reliable road transportation network by the time it is completed.
“Apart from connecting barangay Real to its neighboring villages, this new bridge will make a significant contribution to the development of tourism and spur economic activity in the area,” Andal explained.
The project includes the construction of flood control structures on sheet pile foundation as well as an 18-lineal meter detour steel bridge which will be utilized by motorists during its construction. (PIA 3)
