DSWD delivers food aid to Pampanga

A total of 4,160 qualified beneficiaries from various municipalities in Pampanga received food assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 3 through its Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.

Each beneficiary was entitled to receive P3,000 to help address food and other basic needs. Of the total target beneficiaries, 3,446 successfully received the assistance, while 714 were recorded as non-payout cases due to non-appearance or the use of representatives during the distribution.

The payout activity, held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, also featured the implementation of the Hybrid Digital Payout system in partnership with TopJuan Tech Corp., aimed at ensuring a faster and more efficient distribution process.

According to DSWD, the system has streamlined operations by digitizing processes such as data cleansing, deduplication, and report generation, resulting in quicker and more organized delivery of assistance to beneficiaries.

The agency said the hybrid digital payout system, first adopted in Central Luzon, is now becoming a standard practice in other regions as part of efforts to provide faster and more responsive public service.
