Forest BBQ: Re-experiencing Korean food
Annyeoung Korean BBQ lovers!
If you missed the dine-in experience during the pandemic, then there’s a new place offering both unlimited samgyeopsal, the ambiance of Korea, and a well-prepared meal designed to be enjoyed by everyone.

The Forest BBQ , the newest Korean barbecue place in the heart of the city, is now open!

Owner Paul Galang explained that the Forest BBQ team and its partners meticulously checked the quality of meat, side dishes, and even condiments before they offered these to the public.
They are very confident that they can deliver not just the ambiance but quality food that can be enjoyed by everyone.

Forest BBQ Chef Harold Punsalan offers the best quality pork and beef specially-marinated to make it soft and flavorful and complemented by all the side dishes.

A unique combination of tangy, spicy and sweet side dishes like Korean coleslaw, fermented radish, steamed egg, sweet and sour radish salad, glazed potato marbles, Korean macaroni salad, steamed and fried tofu, egg rolls, mandu (Korean dumplings), tteokbokki (simmered rice cake) and fried anchovies are offered only at the Forest BBQ. These are served with steamed rice and of course, kimchi.
A special boba, with sweet, milky and creamy vanilla ice cream on top tapioca balls, is served for dessert that customers will surely love.

The Forest BBQ has a two-storey restaurant that offers an air-conditioned dining space and conference rooms that are available for any occasion.

Co-owner Allaine Tan said there is also an alfresco dining area known as the Korean Food Express that can accommodate 200 persons.

While feasting on Korean food, customers can jam and sing along with the live bands with family and friends.

Tan, who shared her love for Korean food, said that Forest BBQ is the only grill within a forest and might be the biggest Korean BBQ grill in Pampanga.

The blessing was graced by Porac Mayor Jing Capil’s Executive Assistant and representative Francis Tanglao and Angeles City Councilor JC Parker-Aguas with owners Joel Tan, Allaine Tan, and Paul Galang.
This great tasting food can be had at reasonable prices, ranging from Php580 to Php680, with great combos offered.
The Forest BBQ is open daily, 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and is located beside Café Forest at the New Forest Park Resort in Barangay Pampang, Angeles City.
