We Hope Medical Group is preparing to open its first free chemotherapy center in Valenzuela City, aimed at expanding access to cancer treatment and easing the financial burden on patients and their families.
Valenzuela Mayor Wes Gatchalian recently inspected the facility and met with the medical team and management as preparations, compliance requirements, staff training, and safety checks continue.
Once operational, the center is expected to provide free chemotherapy sessions, oncology consultations, specialized nursing care, patient counseling, and laboratory and diagnostic services for eligible Valenzuela residents.
We Hope Medical Group said the initiative seeks to address the high cost of cancer treatment, which continues to force some families to delay or abandon care. The group is also pursuing partnerships with local governments, national agencies, and communities as it targets 100 operational centers nationwide by year-end.
