The company said it continues to invest in future-ready infrastructure and digital literacy initiatives to help more Filipinos safely participate in the digital economy.

Advancing Climate Action and Operational Efficiency
Globe reported a 15% year-on-year reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and a 9% reduction in Scope 3 emissions in 2025, surpassing its annual targets.

Renewable energy now accounts for 34% of the company’s total energy consumption, keeping Globe on track to achieve its goal of sourcing 42% of its energy from renewables by 2030.

The company said these initiatives strengthen network resilience while supporting its long-term decarbonization efforts.

Strengthening Sustainability Reporting
Globe also highlighted its continued efforts to enhance sustainability governance by aligning its reporting with International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards.

The 2025 Integrated Report features externally verified environmental and social metrics, greenhouse gas emissions data, and the company’s first Double Materiality Assessment, aimed at improving risk management, transparency, and long-term value creation.

Globe said its sustainability initiatives reflect its commitment to delivering reliable, affordable, and responsible digital services while helping build a more connected and resilient Philippines.
