Governor Christian Yap called on the public to take part in environmental protection initiatives as the province joined the observance of Philippine Arbor Day today, June 25.
In a message marking the occasion, Yap highlighted the vital role of trees and natural resources in maintaining ecological balance and ensuring a safer and more sustainable future for the next generation.




The governor encouraged residents to participate in tree-planting and tree-care activities in their communities, stressing the importance of collective action in preserving the environment.
Yap also expressed hope that the annual celebration would inspire greater environmental awareness and strengthen public commitment to protecting nature.
