The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has officially launched the 20th GSIS National Art Competition, celebrating two decades of nurturing Filipino artistic talent and preserving the nation’s cultural heritage.
GSIS President and General Manager Arnulfo Veloso emphasized the agency’s commitment to supporting Philippine arts and culture. “This competition goes beyond artistic innovation—it showcases the stories and heritage that shape our national identity,” he said.
Open to artists aged 18 and above, the competition includes representational and non-representational categories, allowing creative freedom. It is held in partnership with the Art Association of the Philippines.
Physical entries will be accepted at the GSIS Gymnasium in Pasay City on April 26, with winners to be announced in June. Selected works will become part of the GSIS art collection at Museo ng Sining in Pasay City.
