The National Food Authority (NFA) Council set the buying price for “dry” rice at P19 to P23 per kilo, and at P16 to P19 per kilo for “wet” rice.
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said this decision was made to ensure good jobs for farmers while also making rice affordable for consumers.
