KADIWA TRADE FAIR KICKS OFF AT MARQUEE MALL FOR FARMERS, FISHERFOLK MONTH

The Department of Agriculture (DA) Central Luzon launched the KADIWA Trade Fair on May 27, 2025, at Ayala Malls MarQuee Mall in Angeles City as part of the Farmers and Fisherfolk Month celebration.

The trade fair aims to directly connect consumers with local farmers and fisherfolk by offering fresh, affordable products straight from the source—helping boost income for agricultural cooperatives and associations across Region III.

Products showcased include vegetables, fruits, seafood, delicacies, and handmade goods from participating groups in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Zambales, Tarlac, and Bataan.

The event opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a walk-through of the booths. Mall Manager Peachy G. Atendido also delivered a welcome message.

Among the featured vendors:

  • Bulacan: Jam Chicharon, Mommy Linda Food Products, Balai Kabute Farm, and others.
  • Nueva Ecija: Desmond Farm, JC Landayan Enterprise, Bongabon Est Farmers and Fisheries Coop.
  • Pampanga: RV de Dios Food Mfg., Diaspora Food Product, Kaka Farmers Association, etc.
  • Zambales: Sonia’s Sweets, Gurung Guru Farmers Assoc., Zambanana, and more.
  • Tarlac: Rangies Food Products, Yumang Crab Paste, Sangkutsa PH.
  • Bataan: Binuwakan Bicol Marketing Coop, Willy’s Cashew, Nutrijuana, among others.

The DA reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening local agriculture and improving access to healthy, affordable food.
