Kalalangan Katimauan Exhibit opens

The Angeles city government in partnership with Ayala Malls opened the “Kalalangan Katimauan” (Art for Peace and Freedom) exhibit on Monday, September 5, at the Marquee Mall.

The exhibit aims to celebrate Peace, Consciousness and Democracy Month this September featuring amazing artworks by homegrown artists.

City Vice-Mayor Vicenta “Vicky” Vega-Cabigting led the ribbon-cutting together with Angeles City Tourism Office Head Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, Marquee Mall Manager Peachy Atendido, Arnel Garcia of NCCA Committee on Visual Arts-Central Luzon, and visual artists and exhibitors Norman Tiotuico and Dr. Vittorio Pantig.

Artists who participated also include Sim de Pio, Lloyd Dacayanan, Badet Tiotuico, Herminigildo Pineda, Arnold Salunga, Ronald Buenacifra, Jr., Lauren Jascha Tolentino, Gerald Alvarez Dela Cruz, Jeffrey Gabatin, and Hajjie Gonzales.

Also featured are the artworks of Billy Corcuera, Iwag Palattao, Armando Ramos, Arnel Garcia, Aurelio de Guzman, Jing Torno, Mary Ann Reyes, Alvin Dungca, Ramcos Nulud, Jojo La Madrid, Jennel Bodino, Architect Edwin Catli, Enrie Nicdao, Berlin Guanlao, and Ramil Tumampos.

The exhibit will run from September 5 to 18, 2022 at Level 1 near the Geox area. (Angeles CIO)
