The Angeles City Traffic Development Office (ACTDO) reminded motorists to keep designated bike lanes free from parked vehicles to ensure the safety of cyclists using major roads in the city.

In an advisory, ACTDO emphasized that bike lanes along MacArthur Highway and Fil-Am Friendship Highway are intended exclusively for bicycle users and should not be used as parking spaces.

The office stressed that maintaining clear and unobstructed bike lanes helps protect cyclists and promotes safer road-sharing among all motorists and commuters.

ACTDO also underscored that respecting bike lanes reflects discipline, road courtesy, and the community’s collective commitment to safer and more orderly streets.
