Officials of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Region III paid a courtesy call on Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda on Monday to strengthen coordination in delivering more efficient transport-related services to Kapampangans.
The LTO delegation was led by Assistant Secretary Marcus Lacanilao and also formally introduced the agency’s newly appointed Regional Director, retired Police Brigadier General Roderick Minong, who recently assumed his post in Central Luzon.
During the meeting, LTO and provincial officials discussed possible measures to assist factory workers affected by the apprehension of employee shuttle vehicles. Both parties explored solutions that could help ease the transportation costs and commuting challenges faced by workers traveling to and from their workplaces.
Assistant Secretary Lacanilao said Governor Pineda remains committed to helping factory workers by finding practical solutions that will enable them to travel home safely while minimizing the burden on their daily transportation expenses.
