The Mabalacat City government distributed its local social pension for the first quarter of the year to 757 senior citizens in Barangay Dapdap on April 30, as part of its continuing efforts to support the daily and medical needs of the elderly.
The payout was led by Geld Aquino, together with Vice Mayor Jun Castro and councilors Pat Acorda, Marjorie Sambo, Benny Jocson, and Ike Morales.

The distribution was carried out in coordination with the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), headed by Popoy Waje, and organized by the Mabalacat Government in Action Center.
Mayor Aquino said the registration of senior citizens across the city remains ongoing, as the local government aims to extend social pension benefits to all qualified elderly residents.

The OSCA assured that the registration process undergoes proper screening and validation to ensure the accuracy of the list of beneficiaries.
Aquino emphasized that the program seeks to ease the financial burden of senior citizens, particularly in addressing their healthcare and daily living expenses. Beneficiaries, meanwhile, expressed gratitude for the assistance they received.
