Marcos, Carney visit Jollibee in Vancouver

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney visited a Jollibee branch in downtown Vancouver, Canada, on Thursday (Canada time), highlighting the growing global presence of the iconic Filipino fast-food brand.

Following their official engagements at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the two leaders stopped at the Jollibee store on Granville Street, where they placed an order, posed for photos with the Jollibee mascot, and interacted with employees and customers.

The branch, which opened in March 2022, is Jollibee’s first store in Vancouver and its 23rd location in Canada.

The visit underscored Jollibee’s continued international expansion and its role as a familiar gathering place for the Filipino community abroad, while also showcasing the brand’s growing appeal among non-Filipino customers. (PNA)
