Mayor Reynan S. Calo extended a special personal gift to teachers of the Department of Education (DepEd) Santa Rita District during a Teachers’ Month appreciation activity held at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan on September 15, 2026.

The activity was held in observance of National Teachers Month 2026, with this year’s theme, “Teacher, Ikaw Naman!”

Supported by the municipal budget allocated for the celebration, the activity received substantial additional personal support from Mayor Calo to further enhance the appreciation event for Santa Rita’s teachers.

Calo said the initiative was the municipality’s way of recognizing the dedication and service of teachers who help shape the next generation of Ritenians.

The activity brought together teachers from the DepEd Santa Rita District for a day of appreciation and recognition of their contributions to the community.
