Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on January 25, 2022 receives the donated books which will be displayed at Kapebaluan, a soon-to-open café which highlights locally-produced coffee using green arabica beans and grown by Angeleño farmers.
The books were donated by Jose Carlos Alejandro Yturralde and and Javier Yturralde, Grade 3 and Grade 8 students, respectively.
During the book inspection, Mayor Lazatin was joined by Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (ACEDIPO) head Irish Bonus-Llego.
Manuel and Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, both implementers of the café project, are urging their kabalens to donate books in good condition for the café, particularly those for reference. Donated books can be dropped off at the City Library or at the ACEDIPO.
