MEDEF, BCDA STRENGTHEN TIES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN NEW CLARK CITY

The Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF) met with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to explore new opportunities for French collaboration in promoting sustainable growth across BCDA-managed developments.

Led by MEDEF Chairman and Special Representative of the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs François Corbin, the delegation discussed potential partnerships in renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and efficient transport systems in New Clark City.

BCDA Vice President for Strategic Projects and Management Engr. Randy S. Viacrusis and Vice President for Investment Promotions and Marketing Erwin Kenneth Peralta presented the agency’s development portfolio spanning Clark, Baguio, Metro Manila, and La Union—highlighting key infrastructure projects such as the Clark National Food Hub, airport access roads, ICT networks, and waste-to-energy initiatives.

Meanwhile, Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) Department Manager for New Business Ventures Melissa Feliciano shared updates on the Clark National Food Hub, envisioned to become a major logistics and agri-business hub in Central Luzon.

Both parties emphasized their shared vision of building sustainable, inclusive, and future-ready communities through innovation and global cooperation.
