A shared commitment to animal welfare is bringing NLEX and the Angeles City government closer together through the βI CARE for Straysβ initiative, aimed at protecting stray animals along the expressway and surrounding communities.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo βJonβ Lazatin II met with NLEX representatives and the City Veterinary Office to discuss the partnership and ways to address concerns involving stray animals in the area.
Lazatin welcomed the initiative, noting that caring for animals is also part of building a safe, responsible, and compassionate community.
Through the collaboration, NLEX and the City Veterinary Office seek to promote humane measures for stray animals while helping ensure safer roads and communities for both motorists and animals.
