Key government and tollway officials joined forces to inspect the ongoing cleanup and clearing of a major waterway along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) that has been linked to recent flooding in nearby areas.

The site visit aimed to ensure that obstructions causing the waterway blockage are fully removed, restoring proper drainage and reducing the risk of future flooding.

Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon, Toll Regulatory Board Executive Director Jay Art Tugade, Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, NLEX Corporation Officer-in-Charge and Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation CFO Luis Reñon, and MPTC Chief Reputation Officer Arrey Perez were present during the inspection.
