A total of 1,126 residents from Barangay Sapang Kawayan, Masantol received relief assistance following the onslaught of recent typhoons and continuous southwest monsoon rains.
Despite the floodwaters and the challenging journey—crossing rivers and navigating submerged areas—officials from the Provincial Government of Pampanga and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) personally delivered the aid.
Leading the team were Vice Governor Delta Pineda, Minalin Mayor Philip Naguit, 4th District Board Member Kaye Naguit, Atty. Ananias Canlas Jr. (Nanay Partylist Consultant), Angelina Blanco (Chief of Staff, Office of the Vice Governor), and Lubao Vice Mayor Jay Montemayor.
Barangay Captain Haydie Ducot thanked the team for their unwavering commitment to bring help to their isolated community.
