PAF joins global air exercise Pitch Black 2026

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) officially sent off its contingent for Exercise Pitch Black 2026 in a ceremony led by its Commanding General on July 6, 2026 in Floridablanca, Pampanga, highlighting the service’s commitment to improving interoperability, operational readiness, and professional excellence.

The Commanding General, Philippine Air Force (CG, PAF), led the Talk-to-Troops and Send-Off Ceremony for the PAF personnel who will represent the country in the multinational air combat exercise hosted by the Royal Australian Air Force.

The PAF delegation, composed of personnel from various units and supported by air assets, will take part in one of the world’s premier air exercises, which provides opportunities for advanced air operations training, knowledge sharing, and strengthening joint and combined capabilities with partner nations.

Through its participation in Exercise Pitch Black 2026, the PAF aims to further enhance its combat readiness and coalition operations capabilities, with lessons gained from the activity contributing to its continuing efforts to protect the nation and serve the Filipino people.
