The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) turned over PHP16.2 million worth of patient transport vehicles (PTVs) to eight local government units (LGUs) in Luzon during a ceremonial turnover on June 10 at the PAGCOR Corporate Office in Pasay City.
Beneficiaries include Rosario and Cuenca (Batangas), San Mateo (Isabela), Pola (Oriental Mindoro), and the municipalities of Dumaran, Brooke’s Point, Magsaysay, and Coron (Palawan). Each PTV is equipped with emergency medical equipment including stretchers, oxygen, and GPS systems.
PAGCOR Chair Alejandro Tengco said the donation supports LGUs in improving access to emergency healthcare, especially in remote areas.
