Eight local government units in Pampanga, including six municipalities and two cities, successfully passed the Regional Inter-Agency Committee (RIAC) onsite validation for the 2025 Local Government Unit Compliance Assessment (LGUCA) conducted on April 13–14, 2026.

The LGUs were among the top 20 municipalities and top 8 cities across the Manila Bay Region in Central Luzon identified during the initial calibration for further evaluation, particularly on compliance with environmental laws such as Republic Act 9003.

The onsite validation aims to assess adherence to key environmental standards, with results to determine final compliance ratings and identify best practices as well as areas for improvement among participating LGUs.
