Pampanga Press Club members honored at Pinatubo arts exhibit

Two members of the Pampanga Press Club (PPC), veteran photojournalists Chris Navarro and Jojo Due, were among the featured artists in the “Kalalangan Pinatubo” Arts Exhibit held on June 15, 2026 at the Santungan Ning Kulturang Kapampangan (SKK) Building as part of the 35th Commemoration of the Mt. Pinatubo Eruption.

Navarro and Due showcased artworks that highlighted the enduring impact of the historic 1991 eruption and the resilience of Kapampangans through the years.

The two artists were also recognized for their artistic excellence and meaningful contributions in preserving and promoting the cultural heritage and historical significance of Mt. Pinatubo through their creative works and continued support of commemorative initiatives.

The exhibit forms part of activities marking the 35th anniversary of the eruption, celebrating both remembrance and the enduring spirit of communities affected by one of the most significant volcanic events in Philippine history.
