PAMPANGA PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL–CLARK TO HOST AFFORDABLE TRANSPLANT CENTER

The Pampanga Provincial Hospital–Clark, the first public hospital inside the Clark Freeport Zone, is set to become a regional hub for kidney and liver transplants in Central Luzon and beyond.

During his visit, Indian investor Dr. David K. Pillai, owner of Zenith International Pharmaceutical and Zenith International Realty, lauded the hospital’s world-class facilities, describing it as “amazing” and “better than the big hospitals I’ve seen in the Philippines.”

Dr. Pillai expressed plans to build a transplant facility and medical school within the hospital compound, bringing world-class healthcare closer to Pampanga and eliminating the need for patients to travel abroad for complex transplant procedures.

Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, Board Members Fritzie David-Dizon and Dr. Kaye Naguit, Provincial Engineer Noli Pangan, PG-ENRO Chief Engr. Art Punsalan, and Dr. Jason Harold Yu joined the site visit.

The upcoming transplant center will provide:
✔️ Affordable kidney and liver transplant procedures
✔️ Minimal to free treatment for Kapampangans
✔️ Accessible world-class healthcare services
✔️ Training opportunities for local medical experts

Once operational, the facility is expected to strengthen partnerships with the provincial government to ensure inclusive, high-quality medical care for all.
