President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. personally welcomed in the Palace today the athletes who have brought honor to the country in various international competitions in the past four months.

PBBM gave awards and tributes to the new champion Pinoy boxers Melvin O. Jerusalem, Charly C. Suarez, and Marlon T. Tapales and the Makati Football Club who won the Junior Soccer School and League in Singapore this month.

Jex de Castro was also awarded, who won the Stars of the Albion Grand Prix 2023 championship at the Euro Talent Festival 2023 held in London, United Kingdom.

The President also acknowledged the success of the Philippines Men’s Ice Hockey team that won the World Championships Division IV in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia that will advance to Division III-B of the championship round. (PCO)
