Pedestrian lane along Sto. Rosario Street repainted

The City Engineer’s Office has repainted the pedestrian lane along Sto. Rosario Street as part of the city government’s continuing efforts to improve road safety.

The repainting aims to make the pedestrian crossing more visible and safer for road users, particularly students, senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and pedestrians.

The project forms part of the local government’s ongoing road maintenance program under Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, which seeks to enhance traffic discipline and help prevent road accidents.

The city government also reminds the public to:
✔️ Use designated pedestrian lanes when crossing.
✔️ Yield to pedestrians at crossings.
✔️ Stay alert and follow traffic rules.

The City Government said that safety is a shared responsibility and encouraged the public to cooperate in keeping city streets safe for everyone.
