PRIMARY SUSPECT IN GUAGUA SHOOTING ARRESTED BY POLICE

Following an intensive investigation and a hot pursuit operation, authorities from the Guagua Municipal Police Station successfully arrested one of the primary suspects involved in the May 4, 2025 shooting incident along Jose Abad Santos Avenue (JASA) in Barangay San Juan Nepomuceno, Guagua, Pampanga.
The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m.

The victims were identified as “Mitch,” 19, a resident of Brgy. Lambac, Guagua, and “June,” 44, a resident of Brgy. Sta. Monica, Sta. Rita. Initial reports revealed that two unidentified suspects on a black Yamaha NMAX motorcycle opened fire at the victims before fleeing toward Brgy. Natividad, Guagua.

Based on eyewitness accounts and surveillance footage, police launched a swift operation which led to the arrest of “Acmad,” 42, a resident of Brgy. San Rafael, Guagua, on May 6, 2025 at around 12:45 p.m.

Recovered from the suspect were a caliber .45 pistol without a serial number, three live bullets, a magazine, a grenade, a Honda Click motorcycle, and a black sling bag.

Police Brigadier General Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3, commended the police for their swift action. “The prompt and diligent response of our police force reflects our unwavering commitment to fight criminality. We will not allow violence to prevail in our communities,” she said.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify and apprehend the second suspect involved in the crime.
