Intensity continues to rise as Stages 8 and 9 of the MPTC Tour of Luzon 2026 unfolded with thrilling finishes and standout performances.

Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Patrick C. Gregorio was on hand, cheering as elite cyclists battled it out for podium glory.

In Stage 8 from Pagudpud to Paoay, Excellent Noodles rider Ryan Tugawin powered through a fierce sprint finish to clinch victory in front of the iconic Paoay Church.

In Stage 9, Danish cyclist Daniel Ridwan Guld of CCN Factory Racing secured the win in Candon City, further shaking up the competition.

With five stages remaining, the race remains wide open as riders push harder toward the finish line.
